I have spent many years working with textiles, beginning with quilting, then spinning, weaving and knitting. Always fascinated with the play of color in creating each piece, but not always satisfied with choices available in buttons and beads to complete or accessorize garments, I began exploring other options. Dichroic glass, with its amazing and endless possibilities was the answer. The fire and color within the glass is breathtaking and design possibilities infinite.

I began lampworking beads, but found I enjoy the process of fusing dichroic glass much more. Buttons, pins, pendants, shawl/scarf closures and earrings are the focus of my work.

Many layers of glass are formed and fired in a kiln to create unique one of a kind pieces, some with fine silver embedded within. Each piece can be considered a small work of art. In fact, my pieces have already received many awards and can be purchased at several retail locations.
